The Coming of Chunky C3P0 + R2D2 by Alex Solis x VTSS Toys

A photo posted by Vince (@vtss_vince) on

Scheduled for a June-release, is this C3P0 Famous Chunkies collectible figure from Alex Solis x VTSS Toys! Seen here are 3D-renderings of the protocol droid, prepping to wolf down his burger and soda! This would make a sweet addition to the series, and if they would treat it in the shiny-chrome awesome of their last release? *FAINTS-FROM-EXCITEMENT*

(A variant single "red-colored" arm chase would be schweet too :p)

But of course we can't forget about his partner droid, can we? Check out the 3D rendering image of R2D2!

Seen: X-Wing @ Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3

First time seeing this at Terminal 3 lor :p

A photo posted by TOYSREVIL (@toysrevil) on

Having featured the launch at Changi Airport, it was only on Monday (the first day of Chinese New Year) that I had actually, physically made it to Terminal 3, to be able to witness the life-sized X-WING Fighter with my own eyes! (Never did made it to Terminal 1 to see the TIE Fighter tho…), and only managed to snap a few shots … I guess the allure has since faded tho … and as well I've added some snaps of BEHIND the "hangar" display, where TOYS were on show!

It was previously reported that the exhibit was on till January 5th, 2016, but it has since gone in February. Good for me, at least! LOL

'Star Wars' Recut as a Grindhouse Film

"Revenge is a dish best served... in SPACE. What if Star Wars was originally produced as a grindhouse film? We cut a brand-new trailer to find out! Trailer Mix is a weekly series that re-imagines your favorite films as entirely different genres. New episodes of Trailer Mix released every Monday on this channel.

Editor: Benjamin Martin
Narration: Benjamin Martin
Executive Producer: Dustin McLean"
WHAT-IS: "A grindhouse is an American term for a theater that mainly shows exploitation films. According to historian David Church, this theater type was named after the "grind policy," a film-programming strategy dating back to the early 1920s, which offered continuous showings of films at cut-rate ticket prices that typically rose over the course of each day. This exhibition practice was markedly different from the era's more common exhibition practice of fewer shows per day and graduated pricing for different seating sections of large urban theaters.

Due to their associations with attracting a lower class of audience member, theaters operating on grind policies gradually became seen as disreputable places showing disreputable films, regardless of the sheer variety of films (including subsequent-run Hollywood films) that they showed."
